Break time-
in Drovers Gap.
There is always more work to do in a garden than can be done on any particular day. A sane gardener learns what work at hand must be completed before sundown, and just as important, when to stop and rest
On days when my Main Muse has some time between clients, I like to walk down into town for afternoon tea at her studio. Nothing fancy, understand, just dark and spicy tea in chipped cups there in the quiet and cool until one of us is called to duty.
On rainy days, I’ll stay indoors and write poems. Words, like trees, require some care and attention in order to grow. Even in the rain, I still may walk down to town for my tea. I will read to the Muse what I’ve written that morning and she will compassionately toss honest stones.
